Confetti Painting

I did a few things I have been meaning to get to lately, painted wine glasses, vase and a coupla coffee mugs with dots to look like confetti. Neat!

Use Acrylic Enamel for glass. Dip end of paint brush into paint color and have at it. The more you add the more it looks like confetti. I like contrast and I used purple, teal, white, red, green and yellow.
Pardon my nails, they have paint on them! It's either paint or soil or flour...I do bake, cook and sew with clean hands! LOL

Indoor Organic Kitchen Garden

Finally got my shelves up at set of double windows in kitchen. I've got Sweet Potato, onion, celery, lettuce, garlic, carrots, herbs, a cactus and a sick geranium. I'm very pleased and excited ,too.Growing and gardening is such an integral part of who I am that come winter if I don't have something growing I'm out of kilter.

I used scroll brackets because they are decorative and when the weather warms just a bit the shelves will be painted a white gloss, to be cheery, clean and water repellent. It's a must that the shelf surface be wipeable since it's holding plants, both in rock and in soil, and they are watered. I have plates and spill bottoms for them all, but just in case. Plus, a kitchen surface gets greasy if not wiped thoroughly and often.
Now to make different curtain valances!
